Is this an actual tattoo, or artwork I take to a studio?

Artwork. Inkaro produces a design sheet, a transfer stencil and an on-skin preview so you can walk into a consultation with something concrete. A licensed tattoo artist still has to review the design, adapt it to your anatomy and apply it. We are not a studio and we give no tattoo safety, aftercare or medical advice.

Can my artist actually use the files?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The design sheet is a clean PNG on white, and the stencil export is an outline-only PNG in standard stencil blue — the same thing your artist would trace or thermal-print. Most artists will still redraw parts of it to fit your body, which is exactly what you want them to do.

How does the on-skin preview work?

Accepted Answer

You upload a photo of the body part you want tattooed, and we render the design onto it so you can judge scale, placement and flow. Upload only photos of your own body, or photos you have the subject's permission to use. We do not swap faces and we do not accept photos of people who have not agreed.

Question 4

What happens to the photo I upload?

Accepted Answer

It is used to render your preview and nothing else. It is never used to train any model, never sold and never shared with advertisers. You can delete it from your session at any time, and uploads are removed from our processing storage within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Question 5

Why are names and dates typeset instead of drawn?

Accepted Answer

Because image models misspell. Any text in your design — a name, a date, a short phrase — is rendered in a real font by your browser and composited over the artwork. The model draws the ornament around it, never the letters. That is why Inkaro lettering is always spelled correctly.

Question 6

Can I get a tattoo of a brand logo or a film character?

Accepted Answer

No. Inkaro does not reproduce real trademarks, brand logos or protected characters, and it does not imitate the personal style of a named living artist. Describe the idea in your own words and we will draw something original for you.

Are the images marked as AI-generated?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on both levels. Every file carries machine-readable AI-generation markers in its PNG metadata — an IPTC digital source type of trainedAlgorithmicMedia, an XMP block and a C2PA-style claim — and every page that shows generated artwork says so in plain language.

What do I actually own?

Accepted Answer

You hold a licence to use the artwork you generate. On a paid plan that licence covers commercial use, including having the design tattooed and using it in your own portfolio. The Free plan is personal use only and its downloads are watermarked. Full terms are in Content & Licensing.

Question 9

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

One click from your account page, any time. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then drops to Free. Unused designs do not roll over.

Question 10

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Yes — email us within 14 days of a charge and, if you have generated fewer than 10 designs in that billing period, we refund it in full, no questions asked. Beyond that we still look at every request individually. The Refund & Dispute Policy sets it all out.
