AI Disclosure
Every image on this site and every file you download is generated by an AI model. We say so in plain language on the page, and we write it into the file itself so a machine can read it too.

Everything visual here is synthetic. The design sheets, the style examples, the gallery, the on-skin previews and the studio photography on this site were all produced by generative models. None of them is a photograph of a real tattoo on a real person, and none of them is the work of a human illustrator.
1. Visible disclosure
Wherever generated artwork appears — the home page, the gallery, the style pages and the studio — the page states in plain language that the images are AI-generated. Free-plan downloads additionally carry a visible watermark and a printed AI-generation notice across the bottom of the image.
2. Machine-readable marking
Every PNG you download from Inkaro has provenance metadata written into the file itself, immediately after the image header. It survives copying and re-uploading as long as the file is not re-encoded. The following keys are written:

The IPTC value trainedAlgorithmicMedia is the standard vocabulary term for media created by a generative model trained on existing works. Any tool that reads IPTC or XMP metadata — including most asset managers and social platforms — can detect it without looking at the pixels.
3. Why we do this
Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act requires providers of systems that generate synthetic image content to mark their outputs in a machine-readable format and to make it detectable as artificially generated. That obligation applies from 2 August 2026 and Inkaro, as a new service, does not fall under any legacy transition period. We also think it is simply the right default: a permanent decision deserves to be made with full knowledge of where the picture came from.
4. What the markers do not do
- They are a declaration, not a cryptographic signature. Anyone can strip or forge metadata. Treat the marker as an honest label, not as tamper-proof evidence.
- Re-encoding a file — screenshotting it, converting it to JPEG, passing it through some social platforms — can remove the metadata. The visible notice on Free downloads is harder to lose.
5. Checking it yourself
Any metadata viewer will show these keys. On a command line, exiftool inkaro-design-xxxxxxxx.png lists them, as does any tool that dumps PNG tEXt and iTXt chunks.
6. About the models
Inkaro composes your brief into a prompt and sends it to a third-party generative image service configured by the operator of this site. Your prompts and any photo you upload are not used to train those models — see the Privacy Policy. Text inside a design is never drawn by a model; it is typeset in a real font by your browser, which is why the spelling is always correct.
